1. Who we are
Talon Quill Publishing (“we”, “us”) is the responsible party for the personal information collected through this site under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
2. What we collect
We collect the name and email address you provide when you sign up, join the mailing list, or contact us; your mailing-list and account preferences; order and contribution records when you buy or support the project; and basic technical information (device type, browser, approximate location) that our hosting and email providers log automatically.
3. Why we collect it
To operate the site, respond to enquiries, deliver the updates you have asked for, and fulfil any orders or contributions.
4. How long we keep it
We keep account and mailing-list records for as long as your account or subscription is active, and order records for as long as required by South African tax and consumer-protection law. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see section 7).
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers needed to run the site — our hosting and database provider, our transactional-email provider, and our payment processor — each under agreements that require them to protect your data and use it only on our instructions.
6. Your rights
Under POPIA you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, or to lodge a complaint, contact us at the address below.
7. How to request deletion
Email cam@legendsofauxillia.com from the address associated with your record and we will process your request within a reasonable period.
8. Cookies & local storage
We use minimal local storage to remember preferences such as whether you have dismissed this notice. No advertising trackers are used.
